The present textbook “ESP for the Students of Arts” prepared for EFL students intends to improve their knowledge of art as well as repertoire of technical and general English vocabulary. This book is also helpful for those who would like to have self-study.

This book contains 14 units, each beginning with a reading comprehension text accompanied by definitions of new words on the margin which helps the learners go over the text easily.

Since the main purpose of the book is enlarging the repertoire of vocabulary, a variety of exercises is used with n special attention to technical terms as well as phrasal verbs and collocations.

In the meanwhile, some units have tips on learning to attract readers’ attention to become more aware of their process of learning. At the end of each unit, a list of new words is provided. In addition to this an index of vocabulary is included at the end of the book.

It is hoped that by studying this book learners will be able to improve their English knowledge in their field of study.
